Synergy Botanicals focuses on Full Spectrum CBD. Full spectrum CBD is a whole plant extract that contains all the phyto-cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids and essential oils. Based on our scientific research, we concluded that all these compounds work synergistically with each other to magnify their therapeutic benefits. This is commonly referred to as the “entourage effect”; or as we like to call it “strength in numbers”. We are here to promote a “w-holistic approach” to self-care through education and superior homeopathic products.
We are NOT a CBD isolate company because Science proves that the single molecule approach is not enough. We are NOT including any harmful chemicals or ingredients in our products or any flavors. We like to keep our products clean and all natural. We want you to get the most bang for your buck and most importantly, use safe and pure CBD products.
Full spectrum = all compounds in the plant (i.e. cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids)
CBD Isolate = only CBD, no other compounds
While most CBD companies focus on a single-molecule approach with Isolate CBD extract, Synergy Botanicals favors the whole plant as designed by nature. In a 2015 study, it was found that CBD Isolate is effective against inflammation, HOWEVER, its effectiveness peaks at a medium dose but less effective at higher and lower doses – given rise to the bell-shape phenomena. This makes dosing extremely hard because one would have to subjectively find their individual daily dosage needed. Fortunately, when Full Spectrum CBD extract was experimented, the bell-shape curve disappeared and only required a lower dose to exert its therapeutic effect.
Why does this happen? Well it turns out that in addition to CBD and other cannabinoids in the plant, there are also beneficial terpenes and flavonoids that have effects similar to those of CBD on mood, sleep, energy, and muscle recovery. As a result, the “entourage effect” was coined to describe how all of these compounds work in concert to bring balance back to the body both mentally and physically.
